As a member of the professional staff, contributes a high level of specialized knowledge and skill in a discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Operations Planning & Support, Sales & Marketing) area to support department and/or function objectives. Generally, works with considerable independence, developing operating plans and related operational processes for own department and monitoring the flow of work between own department and others in alignment with broader business objectives, selecting and developing effective managers and work teams, and managing own organization through reliable systems and processes.


Specific Job Summary

Responsible for the IT Asset Management Process which includes managing the lifecycle of both IT hardware and software globally. Responsible for the compliance of software licenses with vendor contracts for IT assets. Responsible for the Configuration Management Process which includes maintaining accurate information about configuration items (CIs) in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Responsible in forming procurement strategies to optimize technology spend across the organization.

Responsible for developing and maintaining policies, standards, processes and reports that enable the organization to manage the entire IT portfolio. Responsible for software license compliance, to support the optimization of software expenditure in support of business objectives. Create a dependable account of software asset costs and risks, providing support for software strategy, architecture, service management, funding and sourcing decisions.

Expected Contributions

  • Develops operating plans and workable business processes for own department in alignment with function strategy.
  • Manages larger business processes and/or projects, setting priorities and measurable objectives, monitoring and reporting on the process, progress and results. Typically influences work of cross-functional or extended teams.

- using appropriate MVW interviewing tools to hire the best managers available from inside or outside.

Specific Expected Contributions (including duties and responsibilities)

  • Improve / maintain customer satisfaction
  • Develops, documents, and manages work processes to provide support of client systems, software, and hardware.
  • Collaborates with other IT departments for the delivery of reliable client-facing services
  • Ensures established operating policies and industry practices are followed to mitigate risk
  • Ensures Asset Management Process is optimized to track the lifecycle of MVW IT software and hardware assets
  • Responsible for the compliance of software licenses for IT assets.
  • Ensures Configuration Management Process is optimized to maintain accurate information about configuration items (CIs) required delivering IT services in the configuration management database (CMDB).
  • Responsible in forming procurement strategies to optimize technology spend across the organization.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining policies, standards, processes and reports that enable the organization to manage the entire IT portfolio.
  • Manage IT Asset Inventory and data
  • Manage Software Vendor audits
  • Manage all Software License Entitlements
  • Ability to quickly adapt and react to changes within work environment.
  • Along with other IT partners, negotiates and establishes Service Level Agreements and Operating Level Agreements in alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
  • Establishes and communicates the process service levels, process metrics and process performance metrics


Candidate Profile

Successful candidates should possess knowledge and experience and demonstrate strong leadership and relationship skills as follows:

Generally a professional position requiring significant knowledge and experience in one or more disciplines and/or business operations as well as associate management experience. College degree and/or relevant experience generally required.

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field and or equivalent work experience. ITIL Certification preferred.


10+ years of IT and business/industry work experience, 7+ years of IT leadership experience
