*This position is based in Miami, FL.

The Senior Email Marketing Manager is responsible for the global email communications, focused on revenue generation and member engagement. This role leads an email marketing team in the development of the Interval International and Third Party email campaigns, promoting their respective travel products (Getaways, Exchange, Cruises, etc.). The Senior Email Marketing Manager’s main focus is the growth and optimization of the email marketing program.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for the global email marketing calendar, taking into account the business’ goals and using the available data to decide on upcoming campaigns

Lead the Marketing Communications email development team, managing the end-to-end building, testing and thorough review of the email campaigns

Identify and execute growth opportunities within the scheduled email campaigns with the use of our available data, market/industry trends and other points of reference

Streamline and grow our automated campaigns program, finding ways to increase efficiency, resulting in an increase of existing campaigns, as well as improve the performance of our legacy trigger emails

Rigorously undergo A/B tests to improve the email program’s KPIs

Introduce new strategies, approaches and positioning to a) continue engaging our transacting segments and b) penetrate our less engaged audiences

Work with other teams (Revenue Management, Sales, Travel, etc.) in deciding on the email content/positioning and provide clear and detailed direction to the team for development

Thoroughly review all campaigns prior to outside party review and, most importantly, prior to deployment

Consistently provide reports and analysis to provide an in-depth look at the health of our email program and identify potential opportunities

Collaborate with other marketing teams to provide our consumers with an optimal digital experience, not limiting the focus to the email communication but also leveraging the available online tools

Actively find ways to optimize the email development, testing and approval process. This may include reviewing the software in use and how efficient/effective it is to our overall goals

Oversee the Marketing Coordinator’s other ad hoc responsibilities, which would include image selection, content update, provide travel offers to other teams, and other tasks.

Education/Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree

7+ years email marketing experience with a focus on B2C engagement campaigns

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Fluent in Spanish a PLUS

Experience within the travel industry a plus

Basic understanding of Photoshop

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills

Successfully led an email marketing team of two or more associates

Ability to effectively track multiple deliverables and timelines across functional areas in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in the use of email marketing development software

Strong understanding and knowledge of email best practices, innovation, and technologies

Excellent written/verbal communication skills, comfortable communicating with peers and upper management

Highly motivated leader looking with a high sense of ownership and willingness to improve

Understands basic HTML for troubleshooting purposes

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
