Specific Job Summary
This senior leadership role is a high-impact, high visibility position that is accountable for leading solution delivery for all MVW Customer Acquisition-related projects with an IT component. This position ensures that mission critical systems and technology are efficiently and effectively delivered and meet the MVW's long term goals overseeing delivery of multiple projects annually of $10-20 Million.
This position establishes solution engineering principles and standards and ensures they are adhered to so that projects delivered meet the organization's expectations for functional and non-functional requirements, quality and Enterprise Architectural guidelines.
This individual leads multiple teams of internal resources consisting of engineers, technical SMEs and external third party resources both on and off shore. This position directs scope of work, staffing models, process design and management of third-party service providers.

Specific Expected Contributions
This position is responsible for leading multiple teams in solution design, engineering, build and delivery. This individual manages resources and processes to deliver high quality technology projects and initiatives for MVW. This position is responsible to collaborate with both IT and business organizations with a high sense of urgency and a focus on excellence and results.
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide leadership for business focused, time sensitive, innovative and cost-effective technology organization focused on infrastructure design, engineering, build and delivery.
- Lead and manage multiple complex, large scale projects consisting of multiple internal and vendor resources (third parties vendors)
- Provide ownership and involvement in multiple streams of work simultaneously.
- Provide appropriate recommendations based on business trends as related to Customer Acquisition (e.g. Marketing, Sales, Digital Transformation, etc.), analyze and plan for current and future IT & business needs.
- Provide recommendations based on industry and infrastructure trends (e.g. data centers, cloud computing, management tools, etc.), analyze and plan for current and future IT needs.
- Facilitate, define and lead work efforts, including cross-departmental teams and outside vendors, to implement infrastructure activities of solution design, engineering, build and delivery.
- Leverage internal resources and third-party providers with on shore and offshore capabilities to ensure successful delivery and support of multiple projects with an annualized spend of $10-$20M
- Provide leadership to ensure a smooth transition to the operational support teams.
- Work with MVW executive management to prepare budgets and monitor progress against budget targets.
- Provide MVW executive management with status updates regarding progress towards objectives
- Oversees project deliverables, goals, and milestones related to infrastructure engineering
- Plans team resource needs; allocates, supervises, and reviews work.
- Responsible for technical documentation.
- Defines resources and dependencies, and assists in identifying/accessing external services as required.
- Creates strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
- Efficiently identifies and solves project issues.
- Monitors and manages, as appropriate, conflicts within the delivery team as well as conflicts between the team and business sponsors.
- Participates with senior management team in the development of an annual corporate operating plan, including staffing, budgeting and the development of corporate and departmental objectives.

- 8-10+ years of IT experience in technical architecture, engineering, or related areas.
- 8-10+ IT management experience.
- Significant experience in architecture, design, build, and delivery of enterprise systems integration capabilities.
- Experience in architecture, design, build, and delivery of customer acquisition technology solutions.
- Experience in hospitality, hotel or vacation ownership timeshare industry and/or relevant customer servicing industries preferred

- Strong background with a wide variety of technologies (server, storage, networking, security, management and monitoring tools, etc.)
- Extensive experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and data replication architectures, both cloud-based and internally-hosted.
