To maintain facilities, common areas, fitness center, offices, conference rooms, restrooms, breakrooms, clean and assist in other duties as assigned.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Welcome and acknowledge all associates according to company standards; anticipate and address associate needs; assist individuals with disabilities. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.



Safety and Security

  • Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor.
  • Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.
  • Follow Hazardous Material Management Program procedures for handling and disposing of chemicals, fertilizer, pesticides, blood borne pathogens, etc., including using Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
  • Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury.
  • Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to management and security/safety personnel.
  • Complete appropriate safety training and certifications to perform work tasks.
  • Follow property specific procedures for handling emergency situations (e.g., evacuations, medical emergencies, natural disasters).
  • Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines.
  • Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises.
  • Protect the privacy and security of associates.
  • Follow company and department policies and procedures.
  • Ensure uniform, badge, and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Protect company tools, equipment, machines, or other assets in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
  • Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.


Communication

  • Speak to associates and co-workers using clear, appropriate and professional language.
  • Discuss work topics, activities, or problems with coworkers, supervisors, or managers discreetly and quietly, avoiding public areas of the property.
  • Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
  • Respond promptly to requests from associates, and address associate needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
  • Welcome and acknowledge associates with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting.
  • Anticipate associate needs, including asking questions of associate to better understand their needs.
  • Actively listen and respond positively to associate questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property specific process to resolve issues, delight, and build trust.


Housekeeping Protocol

  • Clean offices and conference rooms to include dusting and vacuuming.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose waste daily.
  • Sweep/vacuum and mop floors, and vacuum and clean carpets and rugs.
  • Inspect, maintain, and clean windows, blinds, glass, and mirrors.
  • Keep facilities and common areas (break rooms, Fitness Center, etc.) cleaned and maintained.
  • Clean all refrigerators per cleaning schedule.
  • Inspect and clean coffee machines, microwaves, toasters, and other appliances daily.
  • Inspect and maintain all stairways.
  • Thoroughly inspect and clean cubicle wall partitions on an as needed basis.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and request more as needed.
  • Organize and re-stock cart and closets with the necessary supplies at end of the shift.
  • Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas.
  • Select appropriate cleaning chemicals and necessary personal protective equipment for various surfaces and cleaning jobs, following OSHA regulations and corporate standards.
  • Report missing company property and damages to manager/supervisor.
  • Clean bathrooms, including toilet, floor, sink, partisan walls, and mirrors.
  • Restock all restrooms with supplies such as toilet paper & liners, paper towels, liquid sanitizer, hand soap, etc.
  • Restock breakroom supplies such as dish cleaning soap, napkins, paper towels, cups, plates, utensils, coffees, teas, and others on an as needed basis.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
