JOB SPECIFIC TASKS
Marketing Operations
- Grow and expand the MVCI brand through a variety of successful co-marketing initiatives including but not limited to: direct marketing campaigns (Day Tour and/or Preview Package bookings) and lead generation campaigns, local marketing initiatives within budgetary guidelines and deadlines paying close attention to market and competitive trends.
- Influence development of marketing strategies and plans to ensure marketing investments align with MVCI sales goals.
- Prepare proposals and marketing briefs for approval by Management and develop and execute rolling 6-month marketing and demand generation plans for all managed partners.
- Establish broad, deep, and strong relationships with partners.
- Manage campaign launch efforts including collateral, communication strategy, training tools and related activities, including creation and approval of artwork with in-house/external graphic designer, within deadlines.
- Obtain any necessary licenses and legal approval required for marketing campaigns with partners.
- Coordinate resources required to carry out approved campaigns with the relevant Call Centre/Site manager
- Manage and evaluate the marketing performance of partners and recommend improvements. Report progress against campaign goals and report on ROI.
- Management of subordinate to effectively plan and launch marketing initiatives.
- Partner with Creative Services to draft marketing collaterals
- Provide translation services in support of marketing operations as required
- Ad hoc digital marketing support and other duties as assigned
- Support regional Marketing & Sales Directors on specific projects, coordination, reporting and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Other Expected Contributions
- Promoting and marketing the business; including to new or niche international markets
- Researching campaigns for attracting domestic travelers in Japan, and other markets as required
- Occasionally dealing with customer enquiries and aiming to meet their expectations & company expectations
- Overseeing the smooth, efficient running of the business, especially supporting initiatives from Marketing & Sales leadership
- Keep current on best practices in timeshare industry and MVCI.
- Helps develop and review policies and procedures pertaining to workflow, lead distribution, reward, recognition, and discipline.
- Creates an awareness and understanding of policies and procedures for conducting business (e.g., Flight Plans, Local Standard Operating Procedures).
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Successful candidates should possess knowledge and experience and demonstrate strong leadership and relationship skills as follows:
- Bachelor’s degree holder and minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position within the timeshare industry in Japan
- Demonstrable experience in a marketing position in the timeshare industry.
- Fluency in English and Japanese languages as a minimum.
- Proven verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of computer word processing skills with specific knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and be a self-starter.
- Proven time management skills.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment and interact with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Experience in high volume, fast-paced, results oriented business environments.
