POSITION SUMMARY

The Instructional Design Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Instructional Design team with the development, design and evaluation of talent development solutions. The coordinator supports the ID team with quality assurance needs, Learning Management System [LMS] administration, and general maintenance, and upkeep of training tools and resources.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; read and visually verify information in a variety of formats. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of employees. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

CRITICAL TASKS


Instructional Design

  • Use established methodologies in all stages of the instructional design process, including needs assessment, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Work with the Sales and Marketing Talent Development team and Subject Matter
  • Experts to support the development of large-scale training projects.
  • Assist with data collection in conducting analyses.
  • Maintain/enhance training materials for a variety of delivery methods, including instructor-led, computer-based, web-based, and mobile training.
  • Research and identify vendors for instructional material development, printing, video editing or other potential outsource projects.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on training resources, including multimedia testing,
  • PowerPoint maintenance, editing training participant materials, and evaluation data.
  • Deploys, collects, and reports out on training evaluation of various programs.
  • Publishes and test online training in the Learning Management System.
  • Effectively support the team in managing deadline-driven training projects.
  • Assist the Delivery team with other duties as needed.
  • Keep abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods and techniques.

  • Prepare and review documents (e.g., daily logs, business letters, memoranda, reports), including proofreading and editing written information to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or other methods.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.

Quality Assurance

  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Documentation/Reporting

  • Maintain computer- and paper-based filing and organization systems for records, reports, documents, etc.

Computer Skills

  • Use computer systems and software packages to input, access, modify, store, or output information
  • Enter and retrieve data from computer systems using a keyboard, mouse or trackball.

Office Equipment

  • Transmit information or documents using mail, scanner, or facsimile machine.
  • Operate standard office equipment other than computers such as telephone, typewriter, scanner, fax, photocopier, calculator, and electronic peripherals.
  • Keep office equipment in working order and contact service representatives to correct problems with office equipment, including following-up to ensure problem is corrected.
  • Maintain office areas

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or 1-2 years equivalent Learning Coord experience

Related Work Experience

  • Instructional Design/ Learning

Supervisory Experience

  • No supervisory experience is required
