Position Summary

As a member of the professional staff, contributes specialized knowledge and skill in a discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Operations Planning & Support, Sales & Marketing) area to support team and/or department objectives. Generally works under limited supervision, but within established guidelines, monitoring the flow of work between own department and others in alignment with business strategies, selecting and developing effective managers and work teams, managing own organization through reliable systems and processes, and producing and analyzing more complex business information to assist in the decision making process. 

Specific Job Summary (describe the nature and purpose of the position)

The Sr. Manager, Organizational Effectiveness (OE) oversees and executes key HR/OE programs (e.g., annual engagement survey, pulse surveys, 360-degree feedback processes, selection tools, assessments) and supports the development and use of talent analytics and insights that inform business decisions and drive organizational performance. Acting as a subject matter expert and team leader, he/she will lead research, development, and implementation of new OE programs, processes, and tools (e.g., performance management, succession management, competency models, talent analytics) across the enterprise. Additionally, the Sr. Manager, OE & Talent Analytics will support one or more functional areas in the execution of talent management strategies and practices.

  • Contributes to team, department and/or business results by performing more complex quantitative and qualitative analysis for business processes and/or projects. Often manages small projects, business processes or parts of larger ones.

Specific Expected Contributions (including duties and responsibilities)

  • Leads research, design, development, and execution of core Organizational Effectiveness and Talent Analytics programs (e.g., performance management, succession management, employee surveys, talent analytics research)
  • Oversees and executes OE and Talent Analytics programs and processes, managing budget, communication, training, and the overall project management of key initiatives.
  • Creates and deploys processes and tools (e.g., competency models, 360-degree assessments, talent analytics dashboards) to support HR programs.
  • Leads the examination of HR data and metrics, interprets and analyzes trends, and partners with HR leaders to provide talent insights and recommendations to key stakeholders/business leaders.
  • Leads the implementation of talent analytics tools and educates HR partners in leveraging insights to inform business decisions
  • Conducts organizational assessments and diagnostics for team & organization development using defined methodologies to identify critical issues and root causes; implements solutions to improve team & organization effectiveness.
  • Builds and enhances the integration and alignment of survey and assessment results with business metrics (e.g., guest satisfaction, sales)
  • Manages relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure collaboration and execution of processes.
  • Serves as a Talent Management partner for one of more functional areas, working with business leaders to examine the talent pipeline, assess development needs, establish talent management strategies, and provide ongoing support for the development of associates.

Candidate Profile

Successful candidates should possess knowledge and experience and demonstrate strong leadership and relationship skills as follows:

Generally a professional position with specific knowledge and experience in a discipline (e.g., Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology) as well as associate management experience.  College degree and/or relevant experience typically required.

Specific Candidate Profile (the education, experience, skills and attributes that are important for this position)


  • Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior or other related degree preferred, or other combination of relevant education and work experience.


  • Six (6) to eight (8) years of experience in Human Resources with experience in organizational effectiveness/organizational development, or other combination of relevant education and work experience required.
  • Previous experience administering employee engagement survey processes in a global organization.
  • Previous experience developing and implementing organizational effectiveness / organizational development processes and tools (e.g., succession management, performance management)
  • Previous experience leveraging talent analytics to develop recommendations that support leaders in making business decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills, including demonstrated competency in leveraging analytical tools (e.g., Workday PRISM, PowerBI, SPSS)
  • Demonstrated mastery in project management with a high level of conscientiousness and attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication with the ability to translate complicated content into easy-to-understand messages.
  • Experience managing budgets and managing vendor and internal client relationships; high degree of customer focus and collaboration desired.
