Position Reports to: Resort Manager and Assistant Resort Manager



Job Summary:

Responsible for all Front Desk duties such as (but not limited to) check-in, check- out, reservations, assist with concierge duties, proper cash handling and any and all reporting required as per shift checklist. The Resort prides itself in the level of personalized service we provide. Therefore, we expect our Front Desk Staff to maintain a high level of integrity and service and to always attend to our guests' needs in a professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Included but not limited to:



•Participate in all required health and safety meetings/classes.

  • Follow all rules and regulations set forth in the latest Employee Handbook.
  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all

'     times.

  • Prepare and copy check-in Info
  • Works weekends and holidays, if scheduled
  • Training of new front desk staff
  • Member Services Questions
  • Guest Complaints
  • Be present on time
  • Perform any other various duties that may be assigned by the General Manager or Assistant Manager
  • Collection of Fees and Fines
  • Report all maintenance for store to Store Manager or make work request for maintenance.

CHECK COOLERS AND FREEZERS AND EXPERATION DATES Check all equipment, freezers, coolers to verify that they are operating properly, and that product is frozen and cold. Ice cream Novelty freezer should not be filled above the product line recommendation unless necessary.


CHECK POOL TOWELS AND FILL

Check the cupboard for pool towels. Take the dirty towels to the laundry and bring back clean towels.

POPCORN, COFFEE, ICE

Turn on Popcorn warmer and prepare to make popcorn if necessary. (2 or 3 popcorn packets on the warmers) Make one Coffee Pot full of hot water and place on upper warmer. Make at least one Pot of Coffee. More on summer weekends. Fill the Ice Dispenser on top of the Coke Machine.

CHECK OUT DEPARTURES

From the Room Matrix, (set on today's date) Start with 10A and check-out the current dates departures.  Continue  through  the  end of the RV pads.

PRINT NEW ARRIVALS LISTS: CONDO & RV

From Front Desk Reports

Condo Arrivals, and RV arrivals (ADD all RV Pads)

Verity if any changes have been made. If  so  then  print  the report.

PRINT REGISTRATION CARDS: CONDO & RV

From Front Desk Reports

Condo Arrivals, and RV arrivals (ADD all RV pads)

Place the Condo Registration Cards in the corresponding pigeon­ hole box. Place the RV Registration cards near the second Reservation Computer in Alphabetical order.

CHECK ARRIVAL SHEETS FOR NOTES

Check arrival sheets for notes and transfer these notes to the corresponding Registration Card. Watch for owners extending on Bonus Time. Let Housekeeping know. These units usually do not need to be cleaned.

CLEAN FRONT DOOR GLASS

Clean the Front Door Glass.

FACE AND DUST SHELVES

Bring product forward and dust with a damp cloth, and a feather duster. Audit face all items and watch product codes. (dates that the product expires)  to ensure proper rotation and freshness of   all products.

FILL COOLERS

Cooler must be filled from the back. All pop and  other  cooler items are dates. It is essential that you rotate  produce  properly  to avoid selling out of date product.

VACUUM, SWEEP, AND MOP

Vacuum the carpets, including the one outside the front door. Sweep the floor including behind the counter  area.  Mop  the entire floor using a small amount of Fabuloso cleaner. Also,  sweep outside form the main deck to the bathhouse.

CLEAN COFFEE MACHINE

Clean coffee machine. Wipe down and use spring to clean water line. Clean coffee pots with salt and ice. Wash with soap and  water.

FILL CUPS LIDS STRAWS AND CONDIMENTS

Fill all cups lids straws, knives forks and spoons etc. Fill all condiments, napkins ect. Make sure the dispensers are clean as well.

CHECK FOUNTAIN MANCHINE & CO2

Make sure that the bag in the box  drinks  are  all  working  and that the CO2 has not run out. Change out as necessary.

WIPE DOWN COUNTERS

Wipe down all fast food counters, clean Microwave, Wipe down the reservation and sales counters. Dust equipment, etc.

EMPTY KEY BOXES

There are three labeled boxes on the wall  next  to  the  Main Lodge entrance. Collect the keys from the box labeled  "Key Drop". These keys are dropped here by guests who  have departed early. Take them to the store with you when you open.

The box labeled "condo" contains keys that we put out the night before for guests who arrive after we  close  the  store.  Bring these keys to the store with you when you open.

START RESERVATION COMPUTERS

Double click on TimeShareWare Next. Icon. After the program boots. Enter your name and password. Then  click  on Reservation, then click Room Martix and then click OK.

Next click Window Title. Then drag and drop the matrix to the middle of the screen.

COUNT MONEY SET UP REGISTER

Verify rolled coin, and register coin from yesterdays pm count, record on Daily Store Cash Count Sheet. Count Money in Bag  and record. Add these 3 amounts and they should equal

Phones are to used for Resort business only unless in cases of emergency

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics  described  here  are  representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing  the  duties of this  job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne  particles such as white out, printer cartridge powder, cleaning supplies, gasoline and car fumes, micro waves from a micro wave oven and risk of  radiation. The work environment is that of a typical office with  a  moderate noise level. This noise level is created by light foot traffic and office equipment noise such as computers,  printers,  calculators,  phones, etc.



Qualifications:

Internet, email and Microsoft office.programs..

Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Need to able to lead, motivate staff.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and stressful situations. High customer services standards.

Work independently and efficiently.
