Job Description


To keep all equipment in good repair with a minimum of down time by providing day to day maintenance of the hotel under the direction of Management. To continually support the engineering and security service that effectively address problems affecting both guests and associates, To train and instruct other members of associates by passing along your knowledge and skills. To protect live and properties of guests, associates and hotel and to enforce rules and regulations


  • It is commitments that associate will follow the company policy.
  • Guestroom -- Plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing all types of hardware, plumbing electrical equipment and cosmetic items.
  • Fire alarm/ Life safety System- to monitor and perform test system as necessary, to be fully informed of the system operation and to handle emergencies involving the system. To have a working knowledge of fire sprinkler and emergency power systems.
  • Ensure you have complete knowledge of service operation's SOP.
  • Attending a training session with a minimum of requirement a year.
  • Tools -- to clean lubricate, protect and otherwise maintain all tools and equipment in the hotel. To see that all tools used are returned to the shop and secured in proper storage area.
  • Emergencies -- to be available for any emergencies and act in an engineering/loss prevention capacity to protect our guest and associates, and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency. To act as quickly and responsibly as possible to return the building to it normal operating status. To inform Management of any such emergencies.
  • Accident Prevention and Safety -- to be aware of all existing departmental Job Safety Analysis and to strive to work in an accident -- free manner and to create a safe work environment for other. To continuously look for conditions which may endanger associates or guests of the hotel and to take immediate action to correct any hazardous conditions found.
  • Departmental Duty -- To clean all areas, as directed by Engineering/LP Supervisor. To work in a neat and efficient manner, keeping work area clean and well organized. To serve as otherwise directed or needed to help maintain the effective and efficient operation of the hotel. This assignment shall be at the discretion of Engineering Management
  • General-- Complete all work assigned in a safe and professional manner. Maintain communications with supervisors to ensure that all needed materials, tools and supplies are available or on order.
  • Complete any reasonable request made of management which is not life threatening or against the law.
  • To make regular rounds of assigned area, including our storage and rental house.
  • To observe any abnormal activities on the part of associates or guests.

  • To be alert non-guest or suspicious person wondering around Club Residence, report to Supervisor.
  • To investigate any offense reported whilst on patrol and to ensure full details are made available to the police when necessary.
  • Create good relationship, work closely and coordinate with Empire Engineering and Security Team.
  • To look out for keys left in doors and to ensure their safekeeping.
  • To seize and deal with items found on patrol.
  • To maintain a close watch for any fire of safety hazards.
  • Performance any other duty requests by Engineering/LP Supervisor.
  • Management reserves the right to change or amend this job description at its sole discretion and with out advance notice or employee approval.
  • Plus any others extra tasks which is related to the position that might be assigned by the Club Residence.
