Develop comprehensive, strategic, marketing relationships. Supervise tactical implementation and execution. Deliver detailed analysis and drive the desired marketing objectives and financial results of the company.


1) Direct Marketing: Develop detailed marketing strategies, campaign calendars and pro forms for Preview Channel including: 

a. Direct Mail & Digital Media 

  • Work with Creative Services on design, look and feel, all while following brand standards.
  • Ensure proper reporting in place to measure response/capture rates of each program.
  • Work closely with call centres and site leaders to communicate results weekly/monthly.
  • Work closely with resort operations ensuring customer experience meets and exceeds guest expectations.
  • Work closely with third-party vendors to ensure that direct mail campaigns are constantly audited and tracked. 

2) Business Development / Strategic Partnerships: Develop a Preferred Network of Strategic Alliances in the NEA/SEA (ASEAN) Regions. 

a. Secure data sources from demographically aligned partner databases such as: 

  • Banks/Bankers' Associations
  • Credit Card Companies
  • Airlines
  • Hospitality Companies

3) Tactical Assistance / Special Projects: Serve as a thought leader for the RVP.

  • Deliver input on budgeting, P&L goals and objectives. 
  • Identify ongoing concerns (weakness or threats to financial objectives). 
  • Create solutions for resolving weaknesses and threats. 
  • Identify strengths and opportunities to leverage for financial gain and/or the betterment of the customer experience, thus increasing long-term vision of the customer base and assuring the Company meets and exceeds financial objectives on a quarterly and annual basis. 
  • Provide special projects assistance to SVP and RVP, as needed/upon request. Develop presentations upon request. 
  • Liaise and work closely in the overall development and implementation of tactical marketing initiatives in: 

- Call Centres

- Site Level (Linkage & Events) Marketing

- Corporate Marketing

- Database Management and Security

- CRM Solutions

- Creative Services

- Finance and Accounting

- Legal 

4) Other: 

  • Coordinate with other functions across the AP Region and with marketing colleagues based in other parts of the region.
  • Maintain database of all key partner and MI as needed. 

5) Individual Development: 

  • Lead by example, maintaining high standards of professional leadership.
  • Participate in period Budget Variance Meetings (BUVAR)
  • Regularly update executive management with any relevant information and ongoing feedback on performance and other related issues concerning direct marketing programs.
  • Prepare period personal business review for RVP. 

6) Key Performance Indicators

  • Ensure achievement of direct marketing campaigns.
  • Align with call center production, i.e., staffing.
  • Generation costs production unit.
  • Call centers lead penetration goals.
  • Call center sites achieve call center tours.
  • Sites call center tours VPG.
  • Call center site marketing cost percentage.
  • Sites call center net contract call center volume budget.

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in timeshare marketing and/or financial and/or sales.

  • Understanding of how to manage business financials.
  • Must be comfortable in dealing with partners.
  • Potential to learn and effectively work with the key systems.
  • Ability to introduce, mentor and coach international associates into the Marriott culture.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Expert proficiency in Excel and strategic planning; ability to develop detailed pro forms and complex analysis of program performance and technical campaign initiatives.
