Position Summary:

A Package Sales Specialist is responsible for actively soliciting and processing new return vacation package sales from patrons currently staying in-house at our Sheraton Kauai Resort. This vacation package provides guests an economical way to once again enjoy a Vistana Signature Experiences’ resort, while requiring the guest to attend a sales presentation with Westin Vacation Club during the vacation experience.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop Guest/Owner interest in Westin Vacation Club, and generate a pipeline of future "RSVP" vacation packages for our Vacation Ownership Sales Galleries.
    • Must maintain minimum package production standards.
    • Accurately track and record data pertaining to each Guest interaction.
  • Accurately process new package purchases using the tools and systems provided by Marketing Management.
  • Maintain and exhibit thorough knowledge the services and amenities featured at each of the Maui resorts where RSVP package are sold, and be able to speak in general context about all other Vistana resorts featured in the RSVP package offer.


  • Excellent verbal, written, and computer skills required
  • Extensive knowledge of the local area
  • Must embody professionalism, and consistently demonstrate high quality guest service
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Customer Service experience required (1-year minimum)
  • Prior experience in Sales and/or Marketing preferred (6 months)
