Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Operating under the supervision of the Director of Marketing to coordinate required projects and handle administrative duties, the position will need to liaise with Marketing management, Creative Services and other M&S groups, partner on campaign implementation and with various administrative departments. Responsible for generating tours by developing new marketing campaigns executed through Japan Marketing operations and other Asia Pacific MVC Call Centres or Sites as needed. This includes all aspects of joint program participation, direct marketing and awareness campaigns, including but not limited to online and in person events, digital and social media promotions and more. In addition, maintains a strong relationship and constant communications with existing and new partners for optimizing marketing programs. Participates in marketing events and campaigns to existing members and first-time buyers as needed. Supports the management on specific projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed.
JOB SPECIFIC TASKS
Marketing Operations
* Assist in growing and expanding the MVCI brand through a variety of successful partner co-marketing initiatives including but not limited to: direct marketing campaigns (Day Tour and/or Preview Package bookings) and lead generation campaigns, within budgetary guidelines and deadlines paying close attention to market and competitive trends.
* Responsible for handling selective administrative duties as requested by the DOM
* Prepare proposals and marketing briefs for approval by Management and develop and execute marketing and demand generation plans for all managed partners.
* Maintain strong relationships with partners
* Assist in managing campaign launch efforts to partners including collateral, communication strategy, training tools and related activities, including creation and approval of artwork with in-house/external graphic designer, within deadlines.
* Coordinate in obtaining any necessary licenses and legal approval required for marketing campaigns with partners.
* Coordinate resources required to carry out approved campaigns with the relevant Call Centre/Site manager
* Report progress against campaign goals and report on ROI.
* Partner with Creative Services to draft marketing collaterals
* Provide translation services in support of marketing operations as required
* Adhoc digital marketing support and other duties as assigned
Other Expected Contributions
* Promoting and marketing the business; including to new or niche international markets
* Researching campaigns for attracting domestic travellers in Japan, and other markets as required
* Overseeing the smooth, efficient running of the business, especially supporting initiatives from Marketing & Sales leadership
* Keep current on best practices in timeshare industry and MVCI.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Successful candidates should possess knowledge and experience and demonstrate strong leadership and relationship skills as follows:
* Bachelor degree holder preferred and/or minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position with development of partnerships in the Japan travel markets as an advantage.
* Demonstrable experience in a marketing position in the timeshare industry.
* English and Japanese language proficiency required as a minimum.
* Proven verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in the use of computer word processing skills with specific knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word
* Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and be a self-starter.
* Proven time management skills.
* Proven ability to work in a team environment and interact with all levels of the organization.
* Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
* Experience in high volume, fast-paced, results oriented business environments.
