This position is based in Miami, FL.

This position has hand-on responsibility for business analytics as it relates to the research, development and use of the company’s core business analytical tools the Data Warehouse and Business Objects as it relates to Membership Marketing, Telemarketing and Online renewals.  The Marketing Manager will use these tools to provide data, reporting and key insights to management related to overall profitably and financial responsibilities of all Membership Marketing product portfolios. More specifically as it relates to overall business analysis focused around customer behavior and revenue across online, and offline channels. The manager is responsible for the analyses of each promotion/campaigns effectiveness and provides recommendations to management including channel optimization for direct mail, telemarketing and cross channel promotions. Assists in various marketing related initiatives as required including but not limited to tracking design and implementation of tests. 

Candidate is responsible for knowing HTML coding for email marketing that includes building, testing and deploying mass GLOBAL member email communications targeting membership enrollment, renewals and product upgrades.  This position is responsible for the monitoring, tracking and analysis of each email campaign by market and provides feedback to stakeholders regarding opportunities to enhance each communication and increase responses.  This includes continuous analysis of subject lines, segmentation and email content/placement and promotional campaign elements and provide sound recommendations for new product roll out and product enhancements. Manages and enhances renewal and upgrade email tracking mechanisms in order to analyze campaign effectiveness in terms of online purchases on a per campaign basis.  Creates ad-hoc reports related to campaign effectiveness using Business Objects.  Works with the Consumer team to ensure accuracy and enhance reporting capabilities.

This candidate will assist in the development of project documentation, such as business cases, product requirements, project plans, etc.  Monitor channel performance. Candidate will interpret data and convert information into conceptually sound marketing recommendations. 

Additionally, this person must be able to effectively lead cross-functional teams (creative, marketing and IT) to successfully deliver new business initiatives as they relate to new marketing initiatives in Direct Mail and online renewal marketing.   

Candidate must be able to work independently and will be required to manage projects from initiation through implementation, including business case development, crafting of requirements and specifications, defining scope and schedule, competitive analysis, Marketing ROI/financial analysis, creating annual department budget and manage to it as well as managing general department projects, and general troubleshooting. 

This position will interface and communicate with senior stakeholders and business leads across the organization.  This person will work with outside vendors as necessary to accomplish program development goals. 

Other Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and manage the department’s annual expense budget.

Create and oversee copy for all Membership Marketing on line marketing initiatives. 

Creating email content in HTML and testing of all renewal emails prior to deployment.

Work with new product development plans to adhere to on line positioning and launch process

Assist in the development of strategic Direct Marketing plan.

Provide strategic channel support for Interval’s Direct Mail and Online Renewal initiatives.

Manage comprehensive development and rollout of Global online renewal initiatives as it relates to renewal and upgrade programs.

Manage comprehensive market or consumer research in an effort to understand member needs and evaluate value proposition creating possible recommendations on improvements. 

Makes Sound Judgment – using objective financial and business analyses to monitor and evaluate renewal channel performance metric.

Manage Departments Financial Performance – prepares, justifies and administers budget in accordance with department goals and strategies. Ensures expenses are accurately forecasted and modified in line with goals.

Planning and Improving – advocate planning and continuous improvement of overall product portfolio for the Online and Direct Mail renewal channels.

Provide analysis to support channel enhancements, changes and new channel options necessary to meet market needs, acquisition and profitability goals.

Perform financial analysis on existing and potential new channel opportunities as they relate to renewals and new membership acquisition.

Serve as project manager for new online channel initiatives, working closely and collaboratively with other departments including IT and Online Marketing.

Team with our creative group to ensure online renewal communications are consistent with each specific product strategy.

Work with vendors to establish product development and implementation plans for new revenue opportunities.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills

BA/BS in related field required and 5 to 7 years of Marketing Analysis with strong written and verbal communication skills or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master’s degree preferred.

Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Demonstrated management skills and ability to lead cross-discipline teams.

Solid decision-making and problem-solving skills; ability to execute a number of parallel tasks.

High level of business and technical acumen.

Highly skilled in MS Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint.

Highly skilled in Basic HTML and Notepad ++.

Strong organizational and analytical skills with ability to think strategically.

Marketing experience including market planning and communications.

Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
