Position Summary:

Maintain the efficient operation, cleanliness, physical integrity and safe environment of all rental unit interiors, supervise all projects performed by staff and/or contractors and ensure effective owner communication.  Oversee all maintenance and housekeeping operations including but not limited to, planning, scheduling, coordinating, inspecting, supervising and fiscally managing all work.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supervise work of maintenance and housekeeping departments.  Review nd approve work schedules for all members of each department. Conduct annual performance reviews.
  • Audit repair and maintenance tasks performed by team ensuring satisfactory and timely completion of work orders and assignments.  Utilize work order software to track and quantify all work performed.  Ensure appropriate owner communication where needed.  Conduct regularly scheduled room inspections with Housekeeping and Maintenance team.
  • Perform administrative duties such as approve and process all invoices, Human Resources documents, credit card expenses, and check requests.
  • Communicate effectively with individual owners, Aqua-Aston corporate staff, and resort operation departments, both verbally and in writing.  Follow up on all owner requests and/or communications within one business day.
  • Establish, maintain and adhere to budgets for departments.  This includes all expenditures, including personnel wages, equipment, supplies and outside services.  Exercise analytical skills on financial statements, budgets, planned spending, proposal and contracts.  Complete monthly variance reports.
  • Ensure housekeeping and maintenance teams are properly staffed.  Set expectations, train and hold accountable all employees in these departments.  Schedule, plan, and calendar all ongoing maintenance activities and projects.

    Position Requirements:

  • 2-5 years' of supervisory or management experience.  Skills to develop, monitor, and evaluate employee goals, objectives, performance, and make recommendations when necessary.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language proficiently.
  • Computer experience and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to use property management and work order software.
