Specific Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Global Brand Marketing and Planning, the Director, Brand Marketing and Planning is primarily responsible for developing and bringing to life the brand marketing plan that positions Interval for long-term growth, while continuously boosting Interval’s brand recognition and reputation. In addition, this leader is responsible for overall marketing planning and the execution of the global marketing plan, including the development of content and campaigns that will differentiate Interval from its competitive set and meaningfully impact brand awareness and preference in ways that enable business growth.

Specific Expected Contributions

  • Acts as a brand champion for Interval, ensuring consistency in messaging for all brand touchpoints in support of Interval’s business goals. Strategically evolves the Interval brand and creates a unifying thread across Interval’s business. Manages implementation of Interval’s new brand architecture, personality, and voice.
  • Manages Interval’s company brand and corporate marketing strategy planning, development, integration, and program execution including the activation of Interval’s new brand strategy to include products and programs, e.g., Leisure Time Passport (LTP), Insignia, etc.
  • Manages competitive market, brand, and customer insights strategy and program design and development including influencer programs.
  • Develops and manages Interval’s overall marketing content strategy.
  • Develops a holistic Global Marketing plan for Interval. Orchestrates all cross-team inputs, forums, and outputs related to strategic planning and execution.
  • Manages marketing and messaging planning and scheduling efforts to better orchestrate priority of marketing messages across channels to deliver short-term revenue generation and longer-term brand health. Unites disparate activities into unified plans.
  • Performs other reasonable job duties as requested.

Specific Candidate Profile


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Creative Writing, or related discipline.

Related Work Experience

  • At least 10 years of progressive experience for enterprise-wide marketing with emphasis on developing and bringing to life a brand marketing plan that has resulted in long-term company growth and increasing a brand’s recognition and reputation.
  • At least three years managing team.
  • Experience in Hotel Management, Vacation Ownership, Hospitality or Travel industry preferred.
  • Experience in a matrix structured, global organization preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop high impact strategies and supporting plans – from concept through execution.

  • Knowledge of marketing trends and practices within the industry.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and capability to manage and prioritize multiple and conflicting priorities and tasks.
  • Integrates and balances priorities, work activities and resources for the benefit of multiple key stakeholders.
  • Understands how to manage in a culturally diverse work environment.
  • Computer literacy on Microsoft Office products, e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
