Specific Job Summary (describe the nature and purpose of the position)

Digital Asset Manager, is responsible for handling an organization's digital assets photography, video, fonts, logos, floorplans, photographer/talent releases and media usage rights. This could include ensuring digital files are named and stored appropriately in a digital library. This role ensures that visual content is current and accurate across all digital channels and all brands. Working with business stakeholders this person takes a proactive role in updating websites and digital platforms. Ensuring core product, service, resort and promotional information across all VO brands is portrayed and positioned accurately across all digital channels.

In collaboration with the content manager this role will work to identify areas of opportunity to enhance digital content for maximum business results.

Specific Expected Contributions (including duties and responsibilities)

  • Audit all visual assets on digital channels across brands on a regular basis.
  • Communicate with stakeholders as single point of contact and set service level expectations
  • Proactively manage digital content for single source of current and accurate information
  • Managing the workflow of digital file assets (images and associated support assets) using a customized internal Marriott Vacation Worldwide Asset Library application.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining correct metadata and statuses for all assets on multiple Dam systems
  • Responsible for vetting, revising, packaging, distributing (often includes creating and naming) assets for retouching.
  • Be guest advocate and look at digital content from a guest perspective
  • Stay involved in product and benefit development initiatives
  • Maintain and deploy web visual content across functions, brands, audiences and platforms
  • Supports digital teams in identifying areas of opportunity to improve web photography content
  • Works closely with Resort Operations teams/GMs to ensure resort photography information is accurately reflected
  • Stays current on digital content trends and strategies
  • Participates in initiatives that enhance the digital Owner experience and inspires travel
  • Works in a variety of digital technologies and platforms
  • Perform regular maintenance of imagery includes updates via WordPress and Jahia content management systems
  • Work with Legal to determine usage rights and to annually review legal forms (such as releases) for accuracy and corporate enforceability changes
  • Monitors group mailbox and communicate directly with Users to provide access and help with issues
  • Manage legal release documentation and archive per Marriott Vacation Worldwide guidelines

Specific Candidate Profile (the education, experience, skills and attributes that are important for this position)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work history required
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in content or management required
    • Technical proficiency in web and digital technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Must be highly collaborative and professional
  • Excellent time and project management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, dynamic presentation skills
  • Understanding of the operations of a customer service organization

  • Experience with Workfront or project management systems preferred, but not required
