Position Summary

Provide broad based Compensation administrative support to Compensation Team as well as North America HR Operations Team. Provide administrative support in areas related to the administration of wage planning, equity review, new hire compensation actions, field management compensation reviews and wage surveys, etc. Serve as a primary point of contact responding to service tickets.  Answer policy related or administrative questions, provide guidance, complete related documentation, conduct research and resolve basic inquiries, and escalate complex inquiries or situations internally as appropriate.

Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Enter and locate work-related information using computers. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Specific Expected Contributions

Compensation Support

  • Complete initial data gathering, analysis and recommendation for Senior Managers, Compensation related to field management compensation requests.
  • Audit compensation changes in Workday for accuracy in regard to wage planning, minimum wage increases, etc.
  • Manage and respond to compensation service tickets and ensure timely completion.
  • Approve compensation actions within workflow, as authorized.
  • Audit compensation data and information to validate compliance with company policies.
  • Complete and maintain salary survey data by compiling, organizing, and submitting data on a timely basis.
  • Coordinate data, prepares reports, and provide administrative support for market analysis (wage planning) to ensure up to date market information for management to perform annual reviews and frequent pricing of jobs.
  • Prepare compensation reports as requested and distribute to management.
  • Perform internal/external compensation analysis to determine if salaries are on par with national average. Prepare documents relevant to the equity review results with little to no errors.


  • Maintain confidentiality and security of compensation records, files, and information.
  • Answer phone calls.
  • Create and type office correspondence using computer.


  • Talk with and listen to other employees to effectively exchange information.
  • Speak to employees and co-workers using clear, appropriate, and professional language.
  • Discuss work topics, activities, or problems with coworkers, supervisors, or managers discreetly and quietly, avoiding public areas of the property.
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette including answering the phone within three rings, answering with a smile in one's voice, using the callers' name, transferring calls to appropriate person/department, requesting permission before placing the caller on hold, taking, and relaying messages, and allowing the caller to end the call.
  • Prepare and review written correspondence/documents (e.g., daily logs, spreadsheets, emails, forms, reports), including proofreading and editing written information to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Candidate Profile


  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience including coursework in HR discipline preferred


  • 2–5 years of internal or external related experience in HR discipline; 1–2 years Compensation experience preferred.
