Generic Position Summary

We are looking for a Brand Management Manager to manage several of Marriott Vacations Worldwide brand-level social media channels. This person will be responsible for creating and scheduling social media content for various existing social media platforms while ensuring they are up-to-date with compelling and relevant content that aligns with the overall business objectives and supportive of any brand initiatives (such as campaigns, new openings, etc.) in a social-first, platform specific manner. 

Specific Job Summary

The Brand Management Manager will work closely with fellow Content Marketing & Brand Marketing Managers and the Director of Brand Management, as well as peers across the Digital, Brand, Communications and other departments, to ensure the content on MVW's branded vacation Ownership social platforms is a true reflection of the brands and supports social business goals. They will also have responsibility of ensuring any content being posted on social platforms is relevant to the platform and targeted to the appropriate audience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating, curating and publishing social media content for several of MVW's VO brand's evergreen social media platforms
  • Creation and maintenance of evergreen strategic plan and corresponding social content calendars
  • Community management of several MVW VO brand pages and ensuring consumer requests are dealt with by Customer Advocacy team in a timely manner and any questions/comments are proactively responded to
  • Develop, execute and report on integrated brand campaigns, working cross-functionally with various departments to translate brand campaign objectives into social-first strategies and plans
  • Leverage influencer partnerships and CRMS as needed while reporting on various learnings and measurement of relevant KPIs
  • User generated content curation and incorporation into evergreen social media content
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive awareness, engagement and traffic through social media content and paid advertising
  • Work closely with Digital Media team to ensure all paid media is in sync and complimentary to larger Digital Team efforts while directly aligning to Social Team's business goals
  • Work with relevant social agencies as needed
  • Work collaboratively with field and corporate social media teams to ensure content and campaign efforts are efficient and consistent
  • Monitor, track, analyze and report on ongoing social evergreen and campaigns
  • Share feedback, case studies, best practices and learnings from insights gained from community management, content reports and social listening
  • Ongoing social media advocacy and education for corporate and resort colleagues
  • Identify new trends and opportunities to develop social-first pilots

Successful candidates should possess knowledge and experience and demonstrate strong leadership and relationship skills as follows:

Generally, a professional position with specific knowledge in a discipline (e.g., Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology). College degree and/or relevant experience typically required.

Specific Candidate Profile

  • Advanced interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams, customers, and senior management to achieve solid partnerships and results
  • Strong MS Office Suite application Skills (i.e. Excel, Visio, Word)
  • Minimum 5 years of social media marketing or related experience
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency with social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Ability to understand our brand's unique brand voice and extend this understanding through our social media content
  • Experience with photography and photo editing programs (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom) a plus
  • Experience managing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to think nimbly and creatively, and to come up with out-of-the-box solutions
  • Ability and willingness to travel for social media content opportunities
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to adapt to change
  • Passion for all things travel and hospitality
