Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, Assistant Gallery Manager’s main responsibilities include the training, scheduling and supervision of Guest Relations Officer. Additional responsibilities include; responsibility for the efficient, accurate and timely processing of all guest tours, completion of reports, ensuring adequate supplies of POS and Member collateral, stationary and guest supplies are maintained at the Sales gallery and the Sales facility costs are maintained at or below budget and fiscal accountability operated at the gallery. The AGM is also responsible for ensuring the appearance of the gallery is always maintained in a high quality and pristine condition in all the public areas.

Core Work Activities

  • The incumbent will be responsible for providing guest services to achieve high quality guest relations through a positive and direct management approach
  • Ensure all guests are greeted and registered in a timely manner, and also that all the Admin support associates provide the highest level of guest services in their interaction with tour guests at all times.
  • Supervise, roster scheduling and training of Guest Relations Officer
  • Promote good working relationships between your Sales gallery and all other departments within MVCI AP ensuring clear lines of communication are maintained
  • Lead by example by maintaining high standards and professional leadership, inspire, motivate and be an active hands on participant
  • Respond to and manage in a timely manner any Guest concerns or complaints in conjunction with any relevant departments i.e Marketing, Customer Delivery
  • Assist the Senior Sales Manager in the overall efficient operation of the Sales gallery.
  • Assist the Senior Sales Manager in reporting
  • Responsible for Sales Line call
  • Ensure that all cash operating accounts including SPIF and Petty cash accounts are regularly checked and audited and any discrepancies are immediately reported to the finance department and Senior Sales Manager
  • Handling guest enquiries and complaints
  • Coordinate catering requirements with external vendors
  • Coordinate all temporary gallery moves as required to operate the sales gallery out of Suntec.
