CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience 

  • 4 year degree/diploma from an accredited college or university or equivalent additional experience.  2 years in Maintenance and/or Housekeeping (preferred but not required)

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES 

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping & Maintenance Departments.   This includes a daily reports, preparing daily boards, monitoring Intelity requests, monitoring Revinate Survey scores and taking detailed inventory.
  • Schedule and plan the work assignments for the department and supervise the staff.
  • Edit and prepare payroll for the department.
  • Assist the Facilities Manager with small orders on Birchstreet and logging the PO on the Inventory Ordering Guides.
  • Working on the weekly schedules and adjusting the schedules if needed.
  • Ensure that all Housekeeping and Maintenance staff is following the guidelines and SOPs for their day to day duties. 
  • Focusing on Preventive Maintenance program and ensuring that the maintenance and housekeeping staff are adhering to their checklists of to do items.
  • Participate in interviewing and hiring for all new hires; Submitting paperwork to HR.
  • Prepare and conduct performance evaluations for each team member on an annual basis.  Prepare and conduct merits and demerits.
  • Ensure that every Team Member monthly trained on GSCT, Monthly Safety Training,
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
