Generic Position Summary

As a member of the professional staff, contributes general knowledge and skill in a discipline area (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Resort Operations, Sales & Marketing) to support team and/or department objectives. Generally, works under close supervision or within well-established guidelines to complete routine tasks. 

Specific Job Summary

As a member of the Resort Operation Corporate Team, the Manager will work directly with the Resort Operations Food and Beverage team on ancillary promotions and concept designs leveraging their graphic design skills to create compelling visuals for both associates and guests/owners on property.

This position will report to the Vice President of Resort Experience and Operations and primarily interface heavily with Activities and/or Food & Beverage leaders. The position will also collaborate as required with key COES - Brand & Digital, Law Department, Information Technology.   The position will be based at the Company’s Orlando headquarter.

Generic Expected Contributions

  • Performs the following types of basic tasks:  analysis, auditing, budgeting, forecasting, programming, research, report generation, and software integration.

  • Assists more senior associates in achieving business results by:
    • utilizing technical knowledge and skills to enhance business processes.
    • establishing priorities for self and, where appropriate, others.
    • allocating own time effectively to meet goals in a manner that does not disadvantage other associates or groups.
    • contributing to department/unit budget as appropriate (i.e., input, following guidelines, etc.).
  • Demonstrates an awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement and acts independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge.
  • Performs other duties as appropriate.

Specific Expected Contributions

  • Develops design concept briefs for publications, including brochures, menus, promotional materials, advertising, posters, flyers, magazines, and logos, that are branded correctly and creatively meet company goals.
  • Works with Activities and/or Food & Beverage leaders to create materials fulfilling both their goals and the goals of respective site brands to promote and support key deliverables, e.g.
    • Activities marketing design support for properties
    • Ancillary outlet Logo and collateral design plus branding
    • Quarterly F&B/Activities webinar layouts
  • Creates innovative design solutions by researching industry trends in order to appropriately develop materials for the varied markets.
  • Uses typography and layout that is consistent with company goals, yet facilitates understanding by all key audiences.
  • Selects visual imagery that not only captures the many benefits of vacation ownership, but also portrays the Company accordingly to brand standards.
  • Combines written and visual design elements in a consistent manner to create a body of work recognizable by brand for all Internal and external PP design communications.
  • Where appropriate, works closely with freelancers and outside vendors to ensure that the final product reflects the original intent, the print production requirements, and the associated project goals.
  • Provides support for the ROCT with larger projects as initiatives as time allows.
  • Performs any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by a member of the Activities and/or Food & Beverage management team.

Successful candidates should possess knowledge and experience and demonstrate strong leadership and relationship skills as follows:

Generally, a professional position requiring significant knowledge and experience in one or more disciplines and/or business operations as well as associate management experience. College degree and/or relevant experience generally required.

Specific Candidate Profile


  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, Communication Arts, Advertising or related field.


  • Minimum of 5 years of Food & Beverage, Marketing or Graphic design experience at a corporate level
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an advertising agency.
  • Must have proven experience with a Macintosh Desktop in the latest desktop publishing design programs including Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Acrobat Distiller and adobe Premier Pro).and Microsoft Office (Powerpoint and Word)
  • Must have experience in producing high-resolution, pre-press-ready artwork, including image retouching skills.
  • Experience in hospitality a plus.
  • Working knowledge of the MVW Activities or F&B operations an advantage.


  • Must possess a Graphic Design portfolio.
  • Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be able to set priorities, manage time, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, high volume creative environment.
  • Exceptional design, writing, editing, communication skills, and ability to translate those skills into online or printed communications.
  • Very high attention to detail with strong organizational, critical thinking, reasoning and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines under pressure and be flexible with changing priorities 
  • Ability to follow-up, communicate effectively and work with all levels within an organization 
  • Is a Team player with the confidence to take the lead on projects to support team efforts.
  • Possesses strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks developing and using systems to organize and keep track of information.
  • Must have excellent people skills with a proven ability to quickly build rapport and trust.
  • Possesses professional demeanor.
  • Integrates and balances priorities, work activities and resources for the benefit of multiple key stakeholders.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to self-motivate, work in cross-functional teams, and remain flexible in fast paced and changing environment. 
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred, additional languages an advantage.
