The Marketing Executive promotes awareness of brand image internally and externally. Encourage guests or callers to purchase or schedule preview package sales/tours. Explain details and requirements related to attending a sales presentation to potential owners. Verify that individuals meet eligibility requirements for preview package sales/tours prior to scheduling a tour for a Marriott Vacation Club property. Determine and give complimentary to guests as gifts for their patronage (e.g., rewards points, show tickets). Answer guest questions about property facilities/services. Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly.
Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.


Guest Relations

  • Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property specific process to resolve issues, delight, and build trust.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
  • Welcome and greet members and guests at the Airport or Hotel reception desk.

Marketing Activities

  • Partners with Call Centre Manager, to manage and monitor the travel agent license requirements of the company
  • Supports Marketing management on administrative duties
  • Conducts relevant marketing research for designated projects/initiatives
  • Assist management with preparing presentations, reports, and or other relevant documents
  • Assists with translation of marketing collateral, contracts, documents as deemed necessary
  • Coordinates with vendors and partners on behalf of management when necessary
  • Assists in the planning and coordination of marketing programs including partner programs, digital, direct mail, eDM, etc.
  • Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott Vacation Club
  • International (MVCI).
  • Perform general office duties to support Marketing operation (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, sending outgoing
  • faxes, delivering incoming faxes, copying, opening or distributing mail).
Concierge Services
  • Greet package tour guests as they arrive to airport or for check-in at the Hotel.
  • Assist guests in arranging their Transportation needs.
  • Provide concierge services to all guests and encourage participation in Sales Presentation Tour.
  • Speak to guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate and professional language.
  • Talk with and listen to other employees to effectively exchange information.

  • Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
  • Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments.
  • Handle sensitive issues with employees and/or guests with tact, respect, diplomacy, and confidentiality.

  • Maintain computer systems knowledge (Timeshareware, Outlook, Word and Excel).

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position (e.g. customer service)
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin
  • Proficiency in the use of computer word processing skills with specific knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Must be able to handle a flexible work schedule which will include weekends and evenings.
  • Experience in high volume, fast-paced, results oriented business environments.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and be a self-starter.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and interact with all levels of the organization
