Job Title:                    Mandarin Speaking Marketing Promoter (OPC)

Department:              Marketing

Position Summary

To efficiently generate qualified prospects to Dubai Sales Gallery and efficiently book tours for a 90-minute sales presentation.  Assist in the tracking of current marketing programs according to the standards and professionalism adhered to by the MVC Corporation.

Working Relationships

Reports to:     OPC Team leader/ Senior Marketing Manager

Essential Job Functions:

Through professional persuasion, generate qualified prospective purchasers to attend the 90-minute sales presentation. Qualify clients according to the “details of participation” of any given programme. Also, be able to diplomatically explain promotion terms and conditions to guests that may qualify for a general information (GI) tour.  Co-ordinate appointments and the time of arrivals with the front desk at the Sales Centre. Provide appropriate information to all guest clients with accuracy, all attention to detail and product knowledge. Maintain a positive attitude with everyone you come in contact with at your location.  Develop a positive relationship with hotel and clubhouse staff and adhere to protocol standard as established by the General Manager. Provide information on services available on the UAE so as to be seen almost as a tourist office. Locations must be clean, polished and tidy at all times. Provide creative suggestions for new programmes or improvements to current marketing programmes in order to maximize efficiency in sales, guest, and owner relations.

Area of accountability:

  • Assist new coordinators in making the transition to their new position.  Act as a role model for new associates.
  • Keep track of personal progress and goals.  Expand knowledge of business, self-motivation by creating and studying books related to your craft.
  • Create positive team attitude as it applies to productivity and professionalism.

Physical Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift small boxes.
  • Processing of paperwork and computer data requires visual observation.
  • Travel:  driving/bus

Job Qualifications:

  • Public relations/marketing and direct sales experience an advantage.
  • Must be an organized, motivated and goal oriented individual with excellent one-to-one communication skills.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
