JOB SUMMARY                                                                                                            

Responsible for supporting the sales and marketing business by ensuring projects are running smoothly.  This person will be responsible for monitoring deadlines and preparing necessary documents in both English and Japanese and take a leading role in interfacing with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to complete the project.  Monitoring and applying performance management techniques to improve project performance and cost controls will also be a key part of the role.  Time management of the overall process and identifying risks and opportunities throughout the lifecycle of the project(s) will be essential.

 JOB SPECIFIC TASKS                                                                                                                                      

   Project Management

  • Development of project management plans to drive predictable delivery
  • Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems
  • Lead and facilitate the overall process
  • Managing the flow of project information between stakeholders
  • Preparation of necessary documents including legal documents in both English and Japanese
  • Interface with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders including management, legal and finance
  • Time management of the overall processes
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely manner
  • Identify, assess and minimize risks throughout the project life cycle

 Business Development

  • Identifying and acting on new business opportunities
  • Work with other sales and marketing leaders to develop new opportunities with existing and new partners/vendors

Monitoring and Controls

  • Define scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals
  • Track overall progress
  • Conduct competitive market analysis as needed for relevant projects
  • Accountable for project financial management
  • Monitor budget versus actual results of relevant projects
  • Apply effective quality management and change control techniques
  • Orchestrate metrics to attain KPIs

Managing Relationships

  • Work closely with site sales and management teams to implement successful project plans
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing vendors and partners
  • Develop new relationships with potential partners and vendors
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with legal, finance, and regional leaders

Contributing to the Management of the Enterprise

  • Understand and abide by local regulations around marketing activity (e.g., state marketing matrix, national Do Not Call registry [DNC]).
  • Update plans and actions to prepare for management meetings.
  • Maintain any invoicing and expenses to include purchase orders and vendor invoices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

CANDIDATE PROFILE                                                                                                                                      

Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree or 4years of equivalent work experience.

Required Qualification

  • Proficiency in reading and writing English
