Ensuring guest satisfaction from the moment a guest arrives at the resort until they check-out. Provide directions and answer guest questions regarding the resort and local area. Must be able to provide prompt services while demonstrating strong customer services skills at all times. Candidate will also be assisting in projects assigned as indicated below.

  • Greets guests and checks them into hotel following established procedures including but not limited to assuring all necessary information is received and entered into system 9900, verifying the guest’s current contact information, obtaining email addresses during check in process or when completing the bucket check, obtaining credit card information for incidental expenses, informing guests of pertinent hotel policies and events, issuing room keys, etc.
  • Checks guests out and collects any remaining balance
  • Answers and screens all calls; serves as PBX Operator
  • Attend to guest questions and concerns promptly, accommodate guest needs and requests
  • Confirms pending reservations and blocks rooms when necessary
  • Correct folio errors and/or report mistakes to the supervisors
  • Enter data such as third party and same day reservations, guests request, any room updates, etc.
  • Become knowledgeable of owner services, roles and policies in order to effectively and efficiently assist owners
  • Solve minor guest related issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain the Front Desk and Market neat and stocked at all times 
  • Assist guests with purchases in the Market
  • Handle credit card and cash transactions accurately
  • Must be able to close out the Front Desk and Market manually
  • Must become familiar with Night Audit procedures
  • Become knowledgeable with local areas and events to be able to give appropriate recommendations and directions to guests 
  • Run downtime reports
  • Report any room changes to Housekeeping right away
  • Report any maintenance issues to the Maintenance department right away
  • Must assist guests to fill out incident reports when necessary
  • Participate in all required health and safety meetings/training
  • Any other assigned duties by the Guest Services/Front Desk Lead, Guest Services/Front Desk Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, and General Manager

Knowledge, Skill and Experience:

Minimum High school diploma or equivalent required

Skills Required:

  • Good verbal and writing communication Skills

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Detailed oriented
