Specific Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Global Programs, Partnerships and Products, the Director, Global Programs is primarily responsible for managing Interval’s overall programs’ strategy designed to drive incremental revenue, and member retention and engagement, ensuring alignment with Interval’s vision and strategic priorities. The incumbent will lead the refinement of Interval’s membership programs ensuring competitive advantage, member value and profitability.

Specific Expected Contributions

  • Leads Interval’s member program strategy and development of its member benefits and loyalty programs.
  • Develops a comprehensive marketing strategy for Interval’s programs and member benefits, e.g., E-Plus, and Getaways.
  • Develops creative means to encourage new membership, membership engagement, and use of services.
  • Evaluates Interval’s member programs to determine the best approach to promote programs outside of the U.S., working closely with the Director, Regional Marketing.
  • Manages short-term and long-range marketing programs and budget allocation of resources.
  • Performs other reasonable job duties as requested.

Specific Candidate Profile


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.

Related Work Experience

  • At least 10 years of progressive experience managing company-wide marketing for a company’s membership programs. 
  • At least 3 years managing team.
  • Experience in Hotel Management, Vacation Ownership, Hospitality preferred.
  • Experience in a matrixed structured organization preferred

  • Passion for strategic involvement in the creation and execution of departmental and company-wide goals and objectives.
  • Knowledge of marketing trends and practices within the industry.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and capability to manage and prioritize multiple and conflicting priorities and tasks.
  • Integrates and balances priorities, work activities and resources for the benefit of multiple key stakeholders.
  • Understands how to manage in a culturally diverse work environment.
  • Experience with Qualtrics, Business Objects or similar, Adobe Analytics and Adobe Campaign preferred.
  • Computer literacy on Microsoft Office products, e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
