Job Purpose: 

Lead the revenue strategy to attain budgeted and market share goals for a variety of property assets from both top and bottom line perspective through a combination of revenue meetings and follow-up communication with all stakeholders. Work with the AVP of revenue to define corporate offers across the entire portfolio, bring on new distribution partners, recommend software and support, and enhance internal reporting capabilities. Provide ongoing training and support to other revenue managers, analysts, and other associates. In conjunction with the AVP, manage property distribution across staff, and monthly forecasting requirements and product. Build and manage relationships with local partners to enhance overall understanding and profitable business techniques. Work across departments and with external sources to seamlessly bring on new assets into the portfolio.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Analyze market data from various partners to build and adjust short/long term strategy as needed by segment/channel. Provide recommendations to other revenue associates.

2. Update and maintain rates and restrictions in real time across all rate codes and points of distribution. Quickly responding to all property request. Communicate needs and build/adjust rate codes and promotional offers across distribution, sales, and marketing.

3. Prepare and moderate weekly revenue meetings to enhance overall results of the portfolio. Providing training to participants when necessary.

4. Assist with strategic development of RMS system configuration and implementation.

5. Prepare rolling 6 month forecasts one time per month, by market segment for focus properties, and review rolling 6 month forecast of each revenue manager.

6. Audit and correct parity issues, troubleshooting any yielding failures to minimize error occurrences and communicate instances to AVP. This includes managing of room and rate code mapping between channel manger, connected partners, and PMS.

7. Foster relationships with data and distribution partners to add commentary and/or increase breadth of property awareness.

8. Work across departments (including with Global Brand Colleagues) to share overall strategy and need periods, with actionable follow-up. Working with analysts to fine tune any reports as needed

9. Train other corporate team members in revenue management strategies, and brand specifics. May require travel up to 25% of the year.

10. Suggest property assignment changes and lead training on new focus properties.

Job Qualifications: 


  • College degree or equivalent preferably with a degree in business, economics, finance, or analytics. Must proficiently communicate in English (written and oral) to the understanding of customers, guests, owners, and co-workers.


  • 5 or more years’ experience in revenue management with preferably 3 years within a Marriott branded property. Corporate revenue management or multi-asset coverage is a plus.
  • History in property operations or hospitality analytics preferred. 
  • Working knowledge of revenue management tools (Synxis, Opera, Siteminder, Travelclick, STR, OTA extranets, RMS, CRS, MARSHA, OneYield, HPP, etc..). Understanding of distribution and connectivity a plus. Knowledge of vacation rental markets a plus. Knowledge of marketing concepts preferred. Advanced knowledge of Excel and literate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint).


  •  Revenue management certification is preferred
