Offered at our Corporate Headquarters in Orlando, Florida; the Corporate College Internship Program is an immersion program offering participants work experience in one specific department. Interns will participate in the following activities; comprehensive onboarding, operational duties within their assigned department, eLearning, and virtual meetings with company leaders, job shadowing, and a business case project.

The College Internship Program is designed to last 3-6 months depending upon the participant's availability and the needs of the department. The participants should expect to work a full-time schedule in this program. All College Internships are paid at an hourly wage.

College Intern - IT Communications

Assist with communications, training/job aides and other support related projects related to Office 365 rollout and other IT deployments. Assist with completion and enhancements of SharePoint/intranet updates for IT Department and Policies

Preferred Experience: Versed with Office 365 applications
College Degree/Major: Communications and/or Marketing

College Intern - IT System Design and Engineering

Development of software using Java, Spring framework, JBOSS

Preferred Experience: Development of software applications using Java and application servers
College Degree/Major: BS/MS in Computer Science

College Intern - IT Solutions Architecture

Architecture design and implementation; API, Java, scripting; Skillful in Word, Visio, PowerPoint

Preferred Experience: some experience preferred but will consider school work projects
College Degree/Major: Preferred Computer Science

College Intern - IT Operations

*This position is located in Lakeland, Florida

Assist with network administration and monitoring for our infrastructure and systems management department. Intern will get exposure in working on IT servers, storage systems, virtualization, SD-WAN, SAN,NAS and Cloud technology.

Preferred Experience: Cisco systems (not required)

College Degree/Major:  Information Technology

College Intern - Asset Management

Assist with project management and business analysis; support Reservation Transformation team with internal projects as requested; perform business analysis and project management related functions (competitive research)

Preferred Experience: Basic Web Design/Development (HTML5, CSS skills, etc.), Microsoft Office, VIZIO, Business Analysis, Project Management, Agile Development (Version One, Jira)
College Degree: Business Administration/Computer Science

College Intern - F&A Enterprise Business Solutions - Support Analyst

*This position is located in Lakeland, Florida

- Creates new, as well as maintains existing systems and process documentation.
- Assists in analysis and documentation activities to eliminate remaining Office-based (VBA) legacy systems.
- Manages team support tickets and ensures all tickets have required content.
- Monitors scheduled database jobs - proactively identifies issues and provides a resolution for basic tasks or escalates for complex issues.

Preferred Experience:
- Business and Technical Documentation
- Basic Relational Database Management Systems
- Systems Analysis
- Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work as an individual, as well as within a team environment
- Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment

College Degree/Major: Management Information Systems (MIS) or Information Technology, with minor in Business.

 College Intern - Resort Operations Corporate Room Operations

Assist with tactical and project management support for MVC Room Operations which include disciplines of Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering and Guest Technology; support team with internal projects as requested; perform research related functions; also aid in field resort efforts.

Preferred Experience: Hospitality experience, Microsoft Office
College Degree: Hospitality/Business Administration

College Intern - Marketing & Sales

Project management skills, including:

-Ability to commit to specific dates, deliverables, and procedures, and to keep said commitments as a top-performance priority.
-Ability to communicate scope and schedule changes to clients, clearly and proactively.
-Ability to communicate to management project timelines, deliverables, obstacles, and forecasted events germain to the project.
-Ability to hold clients accountable to their commitments, and to negotiate effectively with clients to secure buy-in for stated timelines and commitments.
Social Media: fluency in all main North American social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, and Pinterest). Facebook post and ad targeting knowledge/experience is a plus.
DAM/Content: Good fluency in digital media, including file formats, image resolution, encoding, color space, and aspect ratio characteristics. Knowledge of digital asset metadata is a strong addition to the basic required knowledge set.
General Characteristics: self-motivated, requiring less oversight via a self-articulated vision that results in a management-approved plan the Associate is passionate about pursuing. Ability to work effectively in a segmented organization that requires a large amount of cross-team interaction (Sales and Marketing, Legal, Brand, Digital, IT, Procurement, iPSM, Resort Operations, etc.)

College Degree/Major:  Marketing


Participants will be expected to learn and preform the job duties of the position(s) within their assigned department. Interns may also be involved in department projects.

Participants will also learn components of what drives Guest Satisfaction and Associate Engagement on site will have opportunities to contribute to these important matters. Interns will be introduced to and have the opportunity to demonstrate the company's values and core beliefs.



  • Candidate should be pursuing a college degree.
  • It is preferred that the candidate is actively pursuing a degree in Hospitality or Business. Candidates who have an undecided major may also be considered.


  • Prior Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Past Interns who are interested in completing an additional internship will be considered first. Previous performance rating will be taken into consideration.

Standards of Dress & Grooming

  • All interns must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation Policy HR-EMP-19 Standards of Appearance.
  • All interns for whom a uniform has been provided must wear the appropriate uniform. Uniforms must be neat and clean at all times. Alterations to uniforms are allowed only if prior approval has been obtained from a supervisor/manager. Missing buttons should be replaced, and tears or holes repaired before the uniform is worn.
  • Non-uniformed interns should dress with good business taste and in clothing appropriate to their jobs. Good business taste does not include blue jeans, shorts, spandex pants, tank tops, midriffs, halter tops, or other generally recognized casual sportswear. Dress or skirt length should be no shorter than four inches above the knee. All interns must wear proper undergarments. Corporate office interns must adhere to policy EMP-20 Corporate Office Business Dress Guidelines.
